Blackjack Basic Strategy – Splitting Pairs
Many blackjack players are way t eager to split pair when ever they have the opportunity regardless of the correct blackjack strategy, they're just happy to split their pair, double their stakes and have an opportunity to play two separate hands just for the minute chance that a streak of luck would occur and they would win both hands. In fact the chances for this to happen are so small that's it is the very reason that casinos world wide offer players to split their hands.
There's no sense in splitting cards in order to receive a better chance since you can always play your hand and wait for the next round to bring luck, but no, little players choose to do so.
And so as we at JokerBlackjack.com found out – a splitting pairs guide is an essential part of the blackjack basic strategy section. Without it many players are doomed to lose a lot of money!
Our blackjack basic strategy for splitting pairs talks about two cases – when you get a pair of 10, any pair of face cards and a pair of Aces.
Except for Aces – never split! The chances are not in your favor (the mathematical rationalizing behind this is very complex and you need not to think of it at this point). Never ever split a 10/10 or J/J – it's such a good hand – why should you want to destroy it for? There's no reason at all! For more blackjack basic strategy please view the rest of our site.
